Being a single mom means that I struggle to make ends meet sometimes and work very hard to give my son the lifestyle he deserves. I am pursuing a nursing degree because I want to help others and teach my son to give back to the community. I think being a single mom has changed me for the better; I don't take anything for granted because I know nothing is handed to me. I am grateful to be able to provide for my child and would like to give others the care I would expect. Nothing but the best.

Growing up in a low income household meant not knowing what your future would hold . Thanks to my parents' hard work and sacrifice I am able to work and pay for some of my tuition while they help watch my son after school. Being a single mom is not for the weak, I have learned. I want my son to have a better future and see me as an example. I am on the path to becoming a nurse and would love to have some financial support in order to pursue my dream.
