Hello! My name is Mahnoor Ahmad and I'm an incoming sophomore at UCLA. I have a GPA of 4.0, and I'm involved in Umma Volunteer Project, Al-Talib Newspaper, Shifa Society, Beautiful Mind Project, and Bruins fight for Pediatric Cancer. I also founded a religious class for Muslim girls in my town's newly-established mosque to create a sense of belonging for Muslim youth in my community. Medicine is not just a career choice for me, it is a true calling. The desire to make a tangible difference in people's lives and provide them with quality healthcare has been the driving force behind my passion for medicine. As someone who has always been deeply committed to helping others, I am drawn to the idea of working in underserved communities. I want to use my skills and knowledge to provide vital medical care to those who may not have access to it otherwise. The thought of making a positive impact on people's lives inspires me to work harder each day and pursue my dreams with unwavering determination. I believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality healthcare, regardless of their socioeconomic status or background. And I am committed to using my education and expertise to help level the playing field and make a difference in the world. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
