Hi, my name is Mahika, but I prefer the name Mars. My dream in life is to pass down education and wisdom to the younger generations. I feel that it is my life purpose to educate and to never stop learning. Learning new things every day keeps me motivated and I want to help children find that same excitement and feeling towards learning. I have persevered through my struggles with my mental health. I have persevered through being homeless, being kicked out of my parents' houses, and learning to bite my tongue to appease my parents so that I could have a stable living situation. I am still not in a completely stable living situation, which is why I have come to this website to apply for some scholarships. I will be using them as a means to escape the unstable living conditions that I am in, so that I can have peace of mind and completely focus on working towards my dreams of becoming a teacher.
