Hello! I am Maggie, a first-generation student pursuing my bachelor's degree in Biology and Psychology at Stony Brook University while maintaining a mentally and physically healthy lifestyle. After my bachelor's degree, I plan on attending PA school to reach my future goal of becoming a physician assistant. I have always knew that I would go into the medical field but it was not until sophomore year of high school that I have officially chose the exact profession I want to go into. I've met a physician assistant alumni who educated me on a physician assistant profession and sparked my interest in STEM and PA. I have worked at many medical clinics including internal medicine, dental, urgent care, physical therapy, and gastroenterology. I will use my knowledge and experiences to continue improving the wellbeing of my patients. A generous scholarship would allow me to eliminate all financial burden from my family and independently pay my cost of attendance.
