I aspire to be a primary care physician. I want to be able to help patients through being a DO, a doctor of osteopathy. This means I want to see the patient and their conditions as they relate to their body as a whole. So if someone has a problem with their stomach, I want to make sure it’s not because of a hormonal imbalance. Being able to help people is my passion. By earning scholarships this goal of mine becomes more achievable. My family and I do not have a lot of money, loans and scholarships are the ways I am paying for school right now, and how I will continue to pay for school.
