Bio

I have been involved in every aspect of the music industry since I was seven years old. In that time I feel I have developed my own unique style, made a name for myself, and become a well rounded respectable musician. My family values have also helped instill within me the significance of hard work, passion, and dedication towards my dreams of one day becoming a serious professional musician. As a child, I remember always looking forward to attending Sunday Catholic church mass. My parents encouraged me to join choir and I became the youngest member. I watched how singing psalms during mass made my family and people feel closer to God which was a powerful experience. It taught me the profound influence music and lyrics have over people. My view of music shifted when I realized the healing power it had in people's lives. Through my songwriting, I have created songs that promote the well-being of others and spread positive motivational messages

My top Billie Eilish songs are “Wildflower,” “TV,” and “The Greatest. " They exemplify her artistry and thematic depth. “Wildflower explores the longing for freedom and connection, using nature as a metaphor for emotional states. Listening to the song puts me in a dreamlike atmosphere, reflecting the tension between isolation and the desire for self-acceptance. The songs make me look at my own identity, reflecting on who I am today and who I was in the past. In “TV,” Eilish addresses the complexities of modern life and the media's influence. The lyrics emphasize vulnerability and slight anxiety. The stripped-back instrumentation enhances the emotional weight almost trapping you in the song. It's my favorite song to listen to with both headphones to capture all the instrumentals and her message that the overwhelming information we receive in the world clouds genuine connection. “The Greatest” serves as an anthem of resilience and defiance. Eilish blends upbeat tempos with lyrics about loss and determination, I believe she encourages listeners to embrace their strength. Her powerful yet vulnerable delivery, coupled with an uplifting production, conveys a message of hope and renewal. Together, these songs showcase Eilish's ability to tackle complex emotions and societal issues. Through her evocative storytelling, she invites reflection on personal experiences and the intricacies of modern life, solidifying her as a defining voice of her generation.

I have been involved in the music industry since I was seven years old, where I developed my unique style and made a name for myself. I began my musical journey as a vocalist and later expanded to include piano, guitar, songwriting, and producing. My love for music has led me to major in the music industry at UCLA in the fall. With this degree, I feel that I can have a meaningful career. My cultural upbringing and family values have taught me the significance of dedication and hard work, which have helped me develop a passion for my art and maintain a strong work ethic. As a child, I looked forward to every Sunday when my family would attend Catholic church. I loved singing in the church choir and spent the entire week learning the songs and their meanings. Watching how singing psalms during mass made people feel closer to God was a powerful experience. It taught me the incredible power of music and lyrics to move and inspire people. My view of music shifted when I realized the good it could do in the world. Through my songwriting, I have created songs that promote the well-being of others and spread positive messages because I feel that good mental health is crucial and needs significant attention. I have also written songs to let people know they are not alone in bad feelings. I write the music to match the sentiments of the lyrics. I would endorse focusing on the mental health of artists and creating a more understanding community within the music industry. Encouraging good mental health is essential for a person to stay productive, and creative and to have a good quality of life. Focusing on improving mental health would help decrease the current suicide rate, and most importantly, allow people to have fulfilling careers and lives. Knowing music makes a difference in people's lives inspires me to continue with my passion. I would help make the world better by starting a nonprofit organization that would focus on developing the artistic ability of low-income children. The organization would also have an intense impact on their academics as it did with me. I struggled in many of my academics but after a couple of months of taking music lessons, my grades started to drastically improve. Learning music enhances cognitive skills such as memory, attention, and problem-solving. Mathematical and spatial skills are also enhanced when learning music because of the patterns in music. Music is known to reduce stress and encourage teamwork. I have great social skills because I sang in bands and performed on stage at a young age. I have never struggled with holding a conversation or being antisocial. Starting this program would help children academically in an enjoyable way and let them use their creative side. With my musical ability and the help of well-rounded artists, I am confident that this could make a huge impact on children in my community. I can't stress enough how much music has transformed my life. It has been my constant companion and has lifted me during hard times. I believe every child deserves to experience the same joy and comfort that music has given me.

I significantly started working to make my community a better place in 7th grade. Every year I have done at least one hundred hours that contribute to making Burbank a better place. Over the years I have done 1000 hours working with nonprofit philanthropy organizations. The Kids Community Dental Clinic in Burbank dedicates its time to improving the oral health of children from low-income families with quality procedures, preventative treatments, and oral health education. Dale Gorman, the executive director, gave me the opportunity and encouraged me to volunteer and make dental kits for the clinic. The dental kits go out to schools and children in the clinic. This organization makes my community a better place because low-income families have extra help. Another Burbank organization that I work with that improves the community is the Burbank Temporary Aid Center (BTAC). They assist the unemployed, the financially challenged, the hungry, and the homeless with food and basic services. I have worked many hours making lunch and hygiene kits for them to hand out to the community every day. I have also run food drives at my high school and local grocery stores to bring in donations. At football games, I set a table representing BTAC and accepting donations. At the grocery stores, I hand out papers explaining what BTAC is and what donations they need. The people have the opportunity to learn more about the community and help out. I have also worked as an on-site volunteer with the Burbank Coordinating Council, which works in the Burbank community to deliver program opportunities for financially disadvantaged families. During the holiday season, I delivered gifts to families all around Burbank. Watching the kids light up as they got to open their gifts was a wonderful experience. It reminded me that I should be grateful for the things my family is fortunate to have. My work with organizations around my community has taught me how important is it for the community to work together to improve. Even simple things like participating in a food drive improve the community. I would help make the world better by starting a nonprofit organization that would focus on developing the artistic ability of low-income children. The organization would also have an intense impact on their academics as it did with me. I have been involved in the music industry since I was seven years old, where I developed my unique style and made a name for myself in the world. I have experience in piano, guitar, songwriting, and producing. I have been performing on stage in California, New York, and Boston. I learned piano and guitar so that I could accompany myself while singing and help myself while songwriting. Currently, I have one song posted on Apple Music and Spotify. My cultural upbringing and family values have taught me the significance of dedication and hard work, which have helped me develop a passion for my art and maintain a strong work ethic. Around twelve years old my mom was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. This caused hardship in my family and changed our family dynamics. My mom is the light of our household she has the kindest soul and the brightest smile. Hearing that such an amazing, loving person was diagnosed was such an atoxic disease did not make sense to me. To help me cope with all the confusion and worry that consumed me I poured myself into music. Music kept me going and I shared it with my mom to keep her strong. I am forever grateful that she did survive and I know that I could not have done it without my love for music guiding me and distracting me.

Music has guided me through the most difficult times. I started my music journey at seven years old. Since then I have expanded my abilities into guitar, piano, songwriting, and producing. It has led me to my career choice of the music business and has led me to want to help others with music. Through my songwriting, I have created songs that promote the well-being of others and spread positive motivational messages. I feel more artists must focus on the mental health epidemic that is affecting many lives today. I aim to one day grow a strong supportive mental health community within the music industry. Focusing on improving mental health would help decrease the current suicide rate, and most importantly, allow people to have fulfilling careers and lives. After completing the music industry program, I aim to pursue a career as a music publicist. In this role, I will collaborate with different media outlets, marketers, and venues. To gain experience, I plan to seek internships with music agencies or record labels. Additionally, I intend to join musical associations, network with alumni, and create strong resumes and portfolios to showcase my work. I also plan to market myself through various digital social media channels. In these positions, I will emphasize my creativity, experience, work ethic, and passion to advance in my career. Ultimately, I aspire to learn from the best in the industry, observe their strategies, and bring new perspectives to the art of music publicity. In the future, I would love to help make the world better by starting a nonprofit organization that would focus on developing the artistic ability of low-income children. The organization would also have an intense impact on their academics as it did with me. Holding conversations and being sociable has never been a struggle for me. I believe that starting this program would benefit children academically in a fun way and encourage them to express their creativity. With my musical ability and the help of well-rounded artists, I am confident that this could make a huge impact on children in my community. I can't stress enough how much music has transformed my life. It has been my constant companion and has lifted me during hard times. I believe every child deserves to experience the same joy and comfort that music has given me. These outstanding outcomes highlight the crucial role of integrating music into the education system.

I have been involved in the music industry since I was seven years old. In that time I feel I have developed my unique style, made a name for myself, and become a well-rounded respectable musician. I began my musical journey with vocal lessons, which I instantly fell in love with. I remember my first experience on stage. I sang with a group of girls and earned my first solo, which meant I got my own mic. I was extremely nervous, thinking about all the things that could go wrong. What if I forgot the lyrics? Or what if I couldn't remember where to start singing? But once I started, all the worries left my mind. I knew that I wanted to pursue music after that. As my love for the art grew, I expanded my musical skills to include guitar, piano, songwriting, and performing. Singing has led me through the most difficult times in my life and has become a part of my identity. Another one of my favorites is songwriting. It often captivates me, making me lose time. I pull from my background in music to communicate my feelings and thoughts musically and lyrically. In the beginning, songwriting constituted a platform for showcasing and practicing my vocal, guitar, and piano skills. I concentrated on crafting catchy melodies and almost shallow lyrics rather than delivering a meaningful message. My first voice teacher and mentor, Devyn Rush, constantly reminded me that when songs carry meaningful messages they can impact others, prompting me to write with a purpose in mind. Devyn started my journey in writing meaningful lyrics, helping me compose my first lyric-heavy song, "Connected." We worked for weeks going back and forth. I write verses and she would give me the assignment of going back and rewriting it. The task started to get tedious. Eventually, I understood why she kept asking me to change the lyrics and keep the message consistent. She knew I could express more meaning and this was her way of showing me plentiful ways to exhibit a single idea. "Connected" was written as a thank you to my dad for encouraging and supporting my dreams and aspirations. Whenever I struggle to communicate an idea into a song I turn to Devyn, I give her my ideas and she turns them into something better. I believe we are a great team when writing because of how well we know each other and her background in songwriting. Devyn is my ultimate inspiration. She watched me grow and guided me to become the best version of myself. Witnessing her songwriting success has been truly motivating. Despite her insistence that I've helped her, I truly believe that my passion for music wouldn't be as strong without her influence.

Winning the Southern California Vocal Association competition in musical theater was a real highlight. These experiences have truly shaped my path as a vocalist, proving that dedication, passion, and hard work always lead to success. My contributions have included preparing lunch and hygiene kits, organizing food drives, and distributing informational materials to raise awareness about BTAC. Additionally, I have volunteered with the Burbank Coordinating Council, which focuses on providing program opportunities for financially disadvantaged families in Burbank. Through these experiences, I have learned the significance of community collaboration in driving positive change. Starting this program would help children academically in an enjoyable way and let them use their creative side. With my musical ability and the help of well-rounded artists, I am confident that this could make an impact on children in my community. I can't stress enough how much music has transformed my life. It has been my constant companion and has lifted me during hard times. I believe every child deserves to experience the same joy and comfort that music has given me.

I have been involved in every aspect of the music industry since I was seven years old. In that time I feel I have developed my unique style, made a name for myself, and become a well-rounded respectable musician. My cultural upbringing and family values have also helped instill within me the significance of hard work, passion, and dedication towards my dreams of one day becoming a serious professional musician. As a child, I remember always looking forward to attending Sunday Catholic church mass with my family because they had the most amazing choir. My parents encouraged me to join and I became the youngest member. I watched how singing psalms during mass made my family and people feel closer to God which was a powerful experience. It taught me the profound influence music and lyrics have over people. My view of music shifted when I realized the therapeutic healing power it had in people's lives. Music is known to reduce stress and encourage teamwork. I have developed great social skills by singing in choirs, playing in bands, and performing on stage at a young age.
