    Elevate Women in Technology Scholarship
Technology is defined as a tool to make life easier. One technology that inspires me about the way in which it can make the world a better place is DNA tests. It draws you closer to your heritage and family that you may have never discovered without it. It also has created a bridge for medical experts to test your genetic traits for diseases and find patterns and take care of them before they grow. It’s a part of family and it changes your life forever and I don’t know anything else that could be considered more of an inspiration that makes the world a better place. It’s such an invigorating way to leave your fingerprint on the world.
Haywood Reed Jr. Well Being Scholarship
One healthy habit Fontainebleau High School will adopt to mange our student body’s mental and emotional health in school is to allow more open and available counselors throughout the day. Mental and emotional health is extremely important and it’s time we stop putting a stigma on getting the help we need. As part of our student body I will strive to adopt other healthy habits to contribute to getting readily and accessible help. With the resources, I would provide a quiet area to go to with waters, snacks, and cozy blankets to make people feel comfortable and at home. I would also help to give students the option to apply for a pass to the counselor’s office so they can go as they please without being questioned and feeling overwhelmed.

The building that raised me is a home. But not in the way you may be thinking. It’s where I got my drive. It’s where I got my passion. This all has stemmed from somewhere I have grown the past eleven years. It began in first grade. It taught me how to love fiercely and laugh wildly. I can confidently say my life wouldn’t be the same without it.Most people have attachment issues to their childhood home and I have felt them develop for me the past eleven years. It’s likely they have developed because it is a part of me now which is frightening to let go. I have learned about myself in that building more than any other. I learned how to succeed, how to love, how to care, and how to grow. I started to appreciate the little things. It taught me how to be grateful and that everybody is somebody. The show wouldn’t go on without them. It’s diligent work. This building trained me to know risks are opportunities of a lifetime in disguise. The walls of this building have held me close when I needed it and pushed me into the world when I didn’t know how to do it on my own. This building has been a home. The definition of a home is "the place where one lives permanently, especially as a member of a family or household".This building is now pushing me into the world when I don’t know how to do it on my own. Happily, I think a part of me will live in theater permanently. I have gained a family, I have grown, I have loved, and I have found me and I can say without hesitation that this will permanently be a part of my story.
    Bold Financial Literacy Scholarship
"Your eyes are much bigger than your stomach." A common phrase my poppy would say growing up. This was used with food, wants, money, etc. He would always tell me that everyone wants more money but only the people who can handle it truly deserve it. Don't take more than you can handle. 70% of lottery winners go bankrupt within 7 years- because they took more than they could chew. Money is ideal-it makes life easier but it's likely to make you end up in debt if you don't know how to handle it. I have always been taught to save over spend and you will have a financially fulfilled life.
