I have watched a show called "The Chosen", this show is a timeline of events and the life of Jesus. I have learned how to be more like Jesus which would be to be more loving, to have mercy, to love regardless of someone's story. The way this show has shaped my goal is by helping me apply Jesus's character in my life and career. My goals led to me being successful and making a positive impact in this world, now after watching this show overtime I have learned that the biggest impact is by how I present myself to others and it all comes down to my character and interaction with people so I must show love, compassion, mercy, and be kind. I'm currently a senior at Taylor High School, I will be graduating on June, 1st, and I'm top 10% of my graduating class. I was admitted into Texas A&M University this current month of October, I was also admitted into my major which is Agribusiness. I want to become a business owner in having to do with supplying farming equipment to farmers, as well as providing grooming services to large animals. I want to then eventually create a business in supplying food which would be selling farm-raised chickens and selling organic chickens. The way I plan to make a positive impact on this world is by supplying products of good quality to the community because having a plate of fresh food on the table is worth the hard work put into it. I want to give an overall message through my business and show off my faith in my workplace by creating products that showcase God, I want to always be reminded of God through my work and the success I am brought through in life even if I have failures along the way even so, I want to see God in every step of my way. I want to create a loving working environment and be a role model of a leader to everyone around me, I want to show my community that education is worth the work you put in if you try and not give up. I want to make it all about God and show Him off to people because of my success which was through Christ who gave me all the opportunities in life till this day and on. I want to lead others to Christ and preach on how God God is and what God He is in our lives.

My biggest motivation in becoming successful is knowing that I will be providing for myself and becoming independent, not just that, but I know that by becoming successful I will be able to pay my immigrant parents back for all they gave up just for me to have the best education. Ever since my parents decided to move from Mexico with all my siblings due to their wanting us to pursue a career and live a better life than what their life was back in their country, ever since those years I've always set goals for myself to keep passing grades all through high school. Seeing the work my parents have always put in me and seeing how hard they push themselves just for me to have the education I want has always been my number one reason to stay motivated and achieve to make my parent proud of their hard work, so they can see how their sacrifices will be well paid off with my hard work in education. I would also say that education is important to me because of the number of opportunities that are outside the world for those who go on to earn their associate's degree, master's degree, or Ph.D. I want to be able to provide financially for my future family and show them how valuable education is, gaining knowledge and becoming someone in this world makes a difference. I want to show others, as well as motivate my community, how hard work pays off and that going to the university is worth a lot. Not only that, but I will be the second sibling in my household of 4 to go to the university and graduate. Another one of my motivations was my older sister who got her master's degree in psychology at the age of 23, I look up to her and I want to do even better than her because the financial help she had wasn't the most only because of her scholarship amount she was able to graduate debt free. I would like to be just like my older sister and take advantage of the many scholarships provided to me, I want to help out my parents financially, and I want to see my parents' proud faces when they see I have done it, that I have accomplished what they always dreamed for. Overall, I've always wanted to achieve in life and in education to make my family and myself proud.

If I had the resources and opportunities to achieve my dream of becoming a business owner in the agriculture industry, this would mean the world to me knowing that with my job I would be helping out an important part of our world which is agriculture and food production. My goal is to have financial support by applying for scholarships to cover most of my college expenses, this would help me accomplish my dream of majoring in Agribusiness and double majoring in animal science at the University of Texas A&M college station. I want to become knowledgeable in the world of business and food production, I want to be able to provide the freshest, cleanest, and most affordable product to the food industry. Not only that, but I want to make good quality equipment for farmers and ranchers. This dream career is very important to me because I want to give adequate value to the people who provide a plate in our house with fresh products, I want to provide them with a safe and more efficient environment to work in. COVID-19 was the greatest challenge throughout my high school career, but very impactful on who I am today. During the pandemic, online school was very draining for my mental health and social skills. I had gone from being shy to even more timid around my peers and teachers, but this changed me to be the most extroverted and outgoing person in my life. I can give most of the credit for my outgoing personality to FFA, an organization that stands for Future Farmers of America where one is taught about the various amounts of careers in the Agriculture field and where one is allowed to compete in animal shows, practice leadership skills, and recognize the hard work that come in with the food we have in our table till this day and the clothes we wear daily. Furthermore, I joined FFA my freshman year during the outbreak of COVID-19, that following year I raised chickens for the rodeo and participated in many LDE and CDE teams, that same year I took a huge leap in running for officer for my junior year in FFA in which I got a position as reporter. My junior year of high school was amazing, I was more extroverted because as an officer I was meant to speak in front of the whole FFA chapter and motivate the members to be active and recognize that we all have a start in not knowing what we are doing until we take a leap of faith and do something out of our comfort zone.
      “The Office” Obsessed! Fan Scholarship
I would say I resonate to Michael from the office the most because of his sense of corny humor. He really shapes up the office and when he had left, the show was never the same. His way of cracking unnecessary jokes and being very social reminds me of a lot of who I am. The way this show has shaped my sense of humor is by making me understand each of the characters own way of humor, whether it's dark humor or dad jokes. It had also made me see how a workplace dynamic can be full of comedy and drama. It also made me understand how each character has their own little life going on outside of work, not just that, but how people can get caught on drama or current situations going on in the workplace. There's not just that, but I was able to see the competition that goes on in the office amongst the workers, especially Dwight, who want to be the best of them all and be Micheal's best worker. I was also able to see how regardless of the chaos in the office, they are really all just a big family that care for each other a ton.
