I'm a senior from New Zealand and Germany, now building my life in Texas, and I've learned that starting over in a new place teaches you things no classroom can. I moved countries twice before I was 17, and somewhere between learning German at a café counter and arriving in America with fresh eyes, I became someone who notices what others take for granted. That outsider's perspective is what led me to build Crunchy, a clean living app that helps people understand exactly what's in their food and beauty products. Because when you grow up somewhere different, you notice the chemicals everyone else has stopped seeing. I presented the concept at a White House education summit at 16, and I'm currently working toward launch on the App Store. Outside of Crunchy, I co-founded Little Loops, a nonprofit sewing handmade blankets for NICU babies, because I believe small acts of care matter enormously to families going through some of the hardest moments of their lives. My faith as a Christian grounds everything I do, from the way I serve others to the way I build things I hope will genuinely help people. My goal is to attend Texas A&M University to study Agribusiness, where I hope to combine my entrepreneurial drive with a deep love for the land, community, and the life I'm working to build roots for in Texas.
