The first thing you need to know about me is my passion for animals. Ever since I first joined High School, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life: study Veterinary medicine and eventually own my own clinic. I've had pets of all shapes and sizes growing up, from the typical dogs and cats to the more unorthodox ferrets and frogs. I am currently enrolled in the University of California - Davis as an Animal Science major and hope to attend their world-renowned Veterinary Science graduate program that's been ranked first in the US and second in the world! It may seem cliché, but both math and science have always been an area of interest for me. I also have a deep passion for Musical Theatre and have participated in many productions since I began my theatrical journey including Little Shop of Horrors and High School Musical. With hopefully many more in the future, I wish to continue to learn more about this lively form of artistic expression. I was also very involved in my school, including being an active member in both Quiz Bowl and Academic League. I was also the President of the California Scholarship Federation (CSF), the National Honour Society (NHS), and a club that I founded in Freshman year called Paws and Claws Animal Rescue. There, we promoted animal advocacy through donation drives, volunteering events, and weekly presentations to defeat popularized misinformation. Finally, I proudly held the title of Vice President of the Gender-Sexuality Alliance club (GSA). Thank you for your consideration, I can't wait to explore what this world has to offer!
