I will be a senior at Iowa State University finishing my education with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Food Science next year. I am trying to help contribute to my family's financial burden of my STEM labs and supplies, science textbooks, and housing as we had a shortfall my junior year with these unexpected expenses. I have three-hour labs that meet three times a week, along with studying for classes for both my major and minor. Due to this amount of coursework in my studies, I cannot get a job to help contribute to the financial burden. Any scholarships will help me continue pursuing my career in STEM, continue to be a role model to other young girls in science, empower women, and graduate on time in the spring of 2023.
