My name is MacKenna Telfaire, and I am a senior at Enloe Magnet High School in Raleigh, NC. I am eager to attend North Carolina Central University (NCCU) because of the excellent academic opportunities it offers. I will be majoring in Criminal Justice and potentially minoring in Business Administration. I believe these will provide me with diverse avenues to achieve my ambitions. I enjoy participating in track and field which is something I will be continuing at NCCU. I enjoy competing in throwing events such as discus, javelin and shot put. I also like baking, watching movies and listening to music. Some of my finest accomplishments include receiving my Silver Award from my Girl Scout Troop, qualifying for regionals my sophomore year after I came back from an injury and joining the National Honor Society. I'm proud of these few of many accomplishments because of how I was able to balance my extracurricular activities as well as maintain good grades.
