2026 grad with 3.8 GPA and 30+ hours of DE credit. I'm an accomplished student-athlete but I fell in love with an unusual sport that came with D1 offers but not D1 scholarships. Not many high school boys willingly choose to wear a Speedo and launch themselves off of 10M platforms and I get that diving just doesn't draw the crowd (or the $) that football does. But I love it. It's taught me attention to detail, patience, how to handle fear, and how to be bold - chasing adrenaline in safe and productive ways and expanding comfort zones to reach goals. My parents are my biggest cheerleaders but they also made sure I understood the difference between dreams and goals. My dream is Olympic Trials, but after watching a documentary about an athlete who rehabbed from injury to gold, my goal is to become a DPT specializing in athletic rehabilitation. Every athlete deserves the opportunity to chase their dream. I plan to graduate college with a degree in Exercise Science and receive athletic training shadowing experience as a collegiate athlete. Next, a DPT program and internships with sports rehabilitation clinics. Eventually, I'll work with collegiate athletes who maintain big dreams even after big injuries.
