I read books multiple times a week.
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. I first went to a preschool that was bilingual, so I was able to learn English and Spanish at a very early age. At 10th grade I moved with my family to the US. When I was 5 years old, I was diagnosed with leukemia. For two years I received Chemotherapy and during this time I began to make drawings on papers, telling stories by mixing them together. After fully recovering, I started practicing a Martial Art called Shito Ryu, and reached the blue belt degree. Once we established in the US, I continued my karate studies, but now practicing another discipline called Kajukenbo. I am currently a Blue Belt in this new martial art. My most dedicated passion since very young has been movies and filmmaking, probably because social interaction does not come easy to me, due to an ADHD condition, led me to immerse into a passion for movies and the world of cinema. I’ve watched many of the all-time classics such as Casablanca, Citizen Kane, Wizard of Oz, Indiana Jones, Star Wars; and that caught me into the world of the greatest directors, like Alfred Hitchcock, Steven Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola, among others. As I got older, I slowly started to get into the filmmaking process by creating short films using LEGO when I had free time. Currently, for my TV production classes in High School I’ve been doing some projects that I have very much enjoyed making and editing them. My aspiration is to continue the learning of films and filmmaking, new tools, new technologies to make that passion a way of life.
