The college that I desire to attend is between Mt Hood Community College or Portland Community College, these are two that colleges that i´m most interested in at the moment, I´ve heard from many teachers that they are good schools for the subject that I plan to major in, which is dental hygiene and also they intrigue me because they have hand on learning on dental hygiene which will have me ready for when I plan to enter, it will also give me many hours of shadowing experience, that allows me to work in different various settings. These schools are both made to prepare me for both national and regional exams. For PCC, it has a very strong reputation and has many experienced faculty members that can help me excel. Graduates of PCC are highly sought after, so this encourages me and motivates me to go there. One of my most memorable moments in my math was from freshmen year. This was my first high school math class, so that adds on to the memorability, but that's not the reason that it is so memorable. The reason that it was so memorable was because of the friends in that class. They made the class better. They made learning fun and also helped when I was struggling in the class, and the teacher was one of the most laid-back teachers that I've had. He also was understanding of the assignments and provided feedback, as it was a return from the corona virus. I was carefree and laid back, of course the class was fun, but I struggled with math since I haven't been taught in person since 7th grade, it felt new and sometimes I felt lost and often stuck on the assignments. The teacher did help, but I lost a lot of the knowledge that I knew during middle school because of the fact it was online that I didn't learn well. Perhaps that´s the reason it was so memorable, because it was a year where I felt disappointment in myself for the lack of knowledge, and lack of understanding. It was a mix of having fun because of friends but also lost of understanding of a lot of the material I had prior understanding of. In conclusion I want to attend Mt Hood community college and PCC because of their benefits that they provide, such as practice, and preparations for exams.
