My parents both came from Thailand when they were teenagers and went on to have a total of 7 kids. I am the first to attend college in my family and hope to finish strong. I have a child who's under 2 and am hoping to complete my education to prove to myself and show him hard work pays off no matter what the situation may be. I am currently paying 100% of my education out of pocket which is hard but I'm making it work in any way possible. When I'm not studying and or spending time with my child I'm at work where I'm a nursing assistant. My big dream is to become a nurse one day until than I'm focused on obtaining my Health Information Technology degree which will give me a peak into what happens behind the scenes of health care. I'm nervous about the future but excited because I know I am determined in providing a good life for my son and I.
