People with disabilities endured a considerable deal of suffering in Haiti, primarily because no one attempted to assist them. When I finally have my degree, I will put an end to that. A common saying she says is that "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." My plans for the future include a significant emphasis on being of service to others. My view is that everyone who comes into this world has a responsibility to try to leave it in a better state than they found it in when they entered it. Giving back is not just generous but also a great way to get to know your community and the people that live there. Giving back to your community is an effective way to help it grow stronger. It may be as easy as picking up trash on a street or reading to kids at the library. My current method of giving something back to the community is to volunteer at the food banks in the area where I live. There, I was able to lend a helping hand to those in need while simultaneously expanding my network of friends who share my values. As I was growing up, I had a burning desire to assist people, disabled individuals, whom I felt didn't receive as much assistance as they should. There are a significant number of disabled people living in our society, and among them are disabled veterans of our armed forces who are not getting the assistance that they should be receiving. With the support of this scholarship, I plan to study computer engineering in college, which will put me in a position to assist people with disabilities. I will give my time and energy to a cause that helps those who are unable to help themselves. I am currently working on a project that will assist them in completing tasks in a more straightforward manner. I am going to put in a lot of effort so that one day I can fulfill my passion of assisting people who are impaired. Many students lack the life experience essential to truly understand what works best for them in terms of studying and becoming engaged because there are so many obligations. Asking your teacher for aid with everything you might need help with is one piece of advice I give to other people.
