Bio

Greetings, I am a mother to a pandemic baby and currently a full time student at Manhattanville college. Even though its been tough as I took a year off to take care of my baby, I am still motivated to finish my career. I'm one semester left from graduating with a double major in early childhood education and history. My pursuit is to eventually become a school principle and influence young lives. I enjoy giving back to my community by going to food banks or preparing care bags for the homeless. Also, I serve my community by being an active participant in my church choir and tutoring kids from low income families.

      Future Female Educators Scholarship
Greetings, I am a current senior at Manhattanville college double mahoring in early childhood education and history. I would focus on ensuring that all students needs are met through either individualized lessons, reinforcements, or diversified lessons. I believe that all children regarless of their backgrounds, race, special needs, etc learn in various ways for which one sense out of the five or a few may be more elevated than others. Therefore, lessons altered to suit their specific learning preference is not only an asset but a helpful reinforcement tool for educators.

The memory that has been engraved in my memory was the moment my beautiful daughter was born. At 21 years of age, I became a mother. Parenthood was a role that no one ever in depth explained. There were so many factors that I was not aware of. Even with that being said, that moment made me appreciate the true meaning of the purest love there is in this world. The bond between a mother and child is indescribable. She will always and forever be my everything. My biggest blessing and inspiration is my daughter Amarianny.
