I am excited for the next of my journey by going to college. I have several hobbies, have a love of learning, and enjoy helping others. I love to dance and have been doing it competitively since I was 6. I also love to draw and paint. It allows me to relax and express my creativity. I love to expand my knowledge. My favorite subjects are science and history. I love to read about World War II. For science, my favorite topic is anything to do with medicine or the medical field. I want to go to medical school and become a doctor. My goal is to be a general surgeon or neurosurgeon. I love to read all sorts of materials from non-fiction, historical texts and novels. I love to give back and helping others. As 12 years as a Girl Scout, I have volunteered at food banks, animal shelters, and homeless shelters. We’ve gathered supplies and organized several drives for food, school supplies, clothes, and other items. For my Silver Award, I was organized a free dance clinic for low-income families at a local school. I have a passion to study medicine. I do everything I can to learn more about being a doctor and the field of medicine. I take medical class at school, and I am pursuing my lab technician certification to help pay for college. I participate in academic seminars and demonstrations at the medical school, and even volunteer at the hospital. I have a close family that supports me. My mom is a teacher and has always promoted the value of education. She has raised me as a single mom since my dad passed away. My family is the most important thing to me.
