My life goals are to graduate from Austin College in Sherman Texas with a bachelor's in economics pre-law. While being a student at Austin college I will be working part time in order to save up money for a vehicle. After graduating I will apply to both UT Austin and Texas Tech Law School. If and when I make it, I will pursue either criminal or corporate law. And I say “if” because if I don't make it into law school the first year, I apply I will work as an economist for a year and apply again the following year. Plus, it will be a big help to paying for law school and other college expenses I will have had. While in 2L I will apply online to get my music and business degree. I am going to apply during 2L because according to almost every law student on the internet 1L is the most important and informative year. With my Business and Econ Degrees, I will help my mother run the business she has always wanted and later on down the road of being an attorney I would like to own my personal law firm in downtown Dallas. As for my music degree I will open up a music shop to give students lessons and for those who are going to college for music, I will help them pay for college. Then many many years later I would like to have a music museum in New York or have a partnership with a company on a certain instrument I played in high school. I believe that I qualify as a great candidate because I am very hardworking and dedicated towards my future goals. Plus, I will be in school for quite some time, so the scholarships will have a major impact on my studies.
