Bio

Growing up as one of the oldest nephews/ grandsons, I've been very fortunate to be exposed to the blue collar industries and the white collar industries. As I got older, I realized that I was passionate about having a blue collar career. The satisfaction of seeing something you fixed and/or built, was a feeling like no other. I've always had a niche for taking things apart, learning how it all worked together, then assembling back into its original form. I hope to set a great example and strive to have a great career, in the blue collar industries!

It all started with a tricycle... I took my tricycle apart with a couple of hand tools I grabbed from my grandfather's shed and put it back together. Why did I do such a thing? I wanted to learn how it worked and why every part of the tricycle was there. Ever since then, I was hooked on taking things apart, learning how they worked, and putting them back together. Which eventually evolved into scooters, bikes, then to cars, so now i figured... why not planes! Having a career in aviation maintenance will make me feel on top of the world! I am a very attention to detail individual with a very ambitious mindset and an out of this world work ethic. I make it a goal everyday to learn something new, even if I'm already familiar with the subject. Keeping an open mind has taught me everything I know, and motivates me to always to apply it to everything in life. Though I have my flaws, I use them as a source of motivation to constantly improve and do better in all aspects. My greatest attribute is my willingness to find the safest and most efficient way of completing a task thrown my way. My name is Logan Yang, and I am a future aviation maintenance technician. Thank you for reading my essay!
