I have been in love with music and the performing arts for as long as I can remember. However I knew at a young age that following my dreams for a career would likely not end up well. In turn I have developed new skills and passions that will likely be successful. I want to be involved in law and politics, and even be a Criminal Justice at some point in my life. I am in love with finance and investments. I have many hobbies worth pursuing.
I have a strong desire to study criminal law, and would also love to peruse my dreams of acting in many shows. Although I will likely never make a career out of acting and music, I refuse to give it up. I am determined to find ways to perform while pursuing my career.
Although I am young I strive to be active in my community. I have hosted blood drives with the Red Cross. When I was young I was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. It was a heart condition that prevented blood from transferring to my heart sufficiently. After a blood donation my life was saved, and I plan on doing the best with it. My best friend was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma, and my grandpa has been diagnosed with cancer these last few years. I hope to be an avid leader in getting local communities to donate blood, as well as continue donating myself. I want to help fight cancer, by donating and getting others to donate blood.

Our world is made from the communities we grow up in, and the groups we are a part of. Helping those around us is not only an attribute that can allow for growth, but it can also allow for unity. In a world where we are all politically and morally divided, helping out those around us who may be different than us is why I choose to get involved in my community.
Whether we have differences in race or background, we can all become United in a work that will better the lives of the communities we live in. When we choose to serve those around us who are different than us, we are not only strengthening our country, but we are growing in culture and love for the people around us.
I choose to help those in my community as best as I am able because I have been fortunate enough to grow up in a middle-class family that has been able to provide the necessities of life for me and my siblings. Whenever I see people less fortunate than I am, I cannot help but strive to give back to them. I have strived to serve those people the best I can. I have volunteered at food banks and homeless shelters and spent hours handing out breakfast to them. I have also helped gather food cans for food drives, and have encouraged those around me to participate.
Giving back to a community is more than just assisting individuals who are forced to spend their lives on the streets, it is about advocating for change and helping out where you can. I have been able to host blood drives and assist in hosting blood drives throughout my community. The need for blood is so great throughout the world since the outbreak of Covid 19. As I began to get involved I began to feel sad as I saw very few people become interested in helping others, simply by donating 30 minutes to get their blood drawn.
I have started posting on social media about the necessity for blood, and have worked with many of my friends to bring awareness of the need through social media and word of mouth at my high school. Knowing that it is very little I can do with my little social influence, I plan on working with the Red Cross, as a phlebotomist and advocating for blood donations, before and during college. I have talked to Red Cross representatives and have been able to secure a position working with them as a volunteer after I graduate high school.
This specific issue is dear to my heart. The need for blood donations is so great. As I child I would have died without a significant amount of blood donations. I have had friends and grandparents who have barely survived their cancer journeys due to a lack of blood donations. I know others in my community who have passed away because they were not eligible to receive blood donations.
These two issues I have addressed barely scratch the surface of what communities need. I understand the needs communities need for issues such as better quality of education and helping communities reduce their carbon footprint I strive to help where I am able and use my knowledge to better the world we live in. and allows for growth, but it can also allow for unity. In a world where we are all politically and morally divided, helping out those around us who may be different than us is why I choose to get involved in my community.

I have always wanted to go to college since I was young. But it has been tough to figure out what I want to do with my life. Since I was young I was determined to go to Harvard and study law school. As I got older I fell in love with drama and acting and aspires to be like the stars on television. As I’ve pondered what to do for my education I have seen that many of those dreams are unrealistic and unlikely. But that dose not mean I want to give up. I want to attend a college because I want to immerse myself in several different aspects of learning and experience for myself what I want to do. Just because acting and comedy are not likely to provide a substantial income doesn't mean I want to completely abandoned them. I want to make them part of my routine, and incorporate all my passions into a consistent life style

Throughout my life I had always been considered the “fat kid” although it might not seem like much to many people. It affected my life significantly. I was bullied and had no friends throughout much of my time in school. It was difficult to see my self as anything worthy or worth saving. I slowly, but surely, started taking care of myself more and more. I found things I was passionate about, and I continued to move forward. After I had allowed myself to be vulnerable, I was finally able to grow physically and mentally. I gained a greater love for myself, and the thoughts I had of harming myself became lessened. I soon learned that I was gifted in many different areas of my life. I had a knack for comedy, and in turn joined improv and drama groups. I soon found myself wanting to play a sport. But why would any team pick me? I was just the fat kid right? I tried out for tennis and soon found out that I was pretty good. They put me on the varsity team my soft-more year. How could this be? I was sure I had no athletic bone in my body. I trained and became physically better an more active. When me and my doubles partner went to state we went very far. We lost the last game that would have put us in the semi-finals, but I had never felt more proud of myself. I had started to overcome the trials that had haunted me, since I was young
