Why do I want to continue to pursue higher education? Well for starters I'm the first granddaughter and first daughter to graduate and I'm the oldest out of 7 kids and my parents are high school dropouts. So of course I want to set a good example for my cousins and my sibilings. I want to make something out of my life, there is so much to learn about and I want to make my parents proud of me. I want to take advantage of the opportunities that my parents didn't have. I'm currently participating in softball for the school and I've been playing in the softball team for 2-3 years now and the team and the coaches have taught me so much about teamwork and leadership and in general working hard. Something I'm currently most passionate about is working hard to get into college and having good grades before I graduate. I don't want to graduate knowing I didn't try my hardest so I want to have straight A's this whole school year before I graduate and so far I do so I'm slowly achieving what I want to do before I graduate.
