Being a first generation college student has impacted my life in many ways such as getting my family and me to learn more about the benefits of a higher education, trying to get higher level classes and scorse to prepare for collage, and it has made me learn how to work hard. Having the chance to learn about what collage can offer me has been great. Growing up my family always talked about how they wished they had gone to pursue higher education. And how I should have high aspirations and not give up my dream of going to collage. While studying what collage would be best for my education and lifestyle I learned about the prosses for applying and how expensive everything is. Getting the chance to work through this financial difficulties with my family has impacted me to not waste the chance I have been given. This has impacted my academic growth by my counselor imploring me to take collage leavel classes in high school. The opportunity to work on higher level courses has helped prepare my for the workload expected of a collage student. Knowing that these courses can cut off the time and financial burden required to get my dream job has shown me that working hard now gives beifits latter. This is an important lesson that I belive everyone should learn. The choose to go to collage has impacted my personal life by making me more independent from my parents. Getting the chance to learn what I want from my life without there opinion has been interesting. This choose to go to collage has also been a bit worrying. I am glad I am going to collage with a friend but am also nervous about being away from my family. Overall I think I will enjoy the new adventure. This has also impacted me by making more financial decisions like applying for scolorships. Getting to know more about what I am expected to spend has helped me make financial plans to prepare myself for when I will go off to collage. And getting to know what resources there are to help ease the burden collage may place such as food and tuition and books. Has made the goal to pursue higher education and my dreams more asessible and less worrying for me and my family. Collage will be and impactuful life long experience I can't wait to begain.

A movie that has had a profound impact on my life is the 2014 Disney movie Maleficent. In this movie we get to explore how villains are not born evil. That the circumstances we grow up in can shape who we will become. This movie shows that when people are hurt, they lash out and, in the moment, may not care who they hurt. And later, they can regret their actions and try to take back what they did. When Maleficent tried to break the curse she placed when Aurora was asleep it made me think of when I broke an object of my mom's. No matter how hard I tried to put it back together it would not stay fixed, it just kept crumbling. Later when I was less upset my grandmother offered to help me put it back together with glue. When we hurt people, especially the ones we care about, it may not always heal right away. And like the object our relationship may still have cracks. But like the object we can fill the cracks with apologies and love. Just like how at the end of the movie when Maleficent breaks the curse, we can choose to keep trying to fix what we have broken. And even though we are hurting and make mistakes, we can change who we are. We can choose to love others. This has impacted my life by showing me that when people are hurt and say unkind words to me that I can show them compassion and love. After all when I have been upset with people around me, when I still show kindness to them, they are more willing to stand with me till I break free from the storms. This movie shows that when you have people who care about you. You can always change your path for the better no matter how far in the darkness you have fallen. This is shown in the movie when Maleficent changes from hiding in the shadows and the wall of thorns to being brave and risking her life to find Aurora before the curse takes effect. If she had not opened herself to connections, she would have been alone and hurt forever. With the people around Maleficent, she begins to heal and to not hurt the others in the moors. I love how this movie can show how love can change us. Love can make us brave and do things that seem impossible.

I have chosen to become a veterinarian because I have always loved taking care of animals. And have looked up to those who can. Growing up it was hard for me to fulfill my passion because we never had the space for animals. But a few years ago we moved to Tooele where more agriculture classes were. And luckily we were able to find a house with a yard. This gave me the chance to learn more about animals from an owners perspective and the responsibility it requires by getting the opportunity for my family to own a dog. Having a pet dog has helped me see how dependent they are on our care. How we have to be the one who cleans up their messes and feed them. They can't care for themselves their health directly relates to how much responsibility and care you put forth. When winter came aound the year when I got the dog I got to see this first hand. Because it was cold and icy outside. Our dog did not get as many chances to go out for a walk leading to a gain in her weight. Seeing this change my family gave her exercise by playing with her longer in the backyard. And this change inspired me to pursue my dreams to be a person people can trust there pets health with. I have been making strides towards my goal by taking as many classes as possible involving animals. Some of the classes that I have been given the opportunity to take in high school are animal science, equine science, and vet assisting. Taking these classes have shown me what is required for becoming a veterinarian. And that this it a feild I can handle and will enjoy making impacts in for the rest of my life. Having the chance to see if I could handle the gore that arises with caring for animals wounds was an eye opening experience. Having the chance to get a degree in the field of veterinary medicine is a privilege I will work hard to obtain. Having a degree will impact my life through how much care I will be able to provide to peoples companions. Personally i want to have all the knowledge possible to keep animals alive and well. I want to be able to help animals to the best ability possible. So I am going to collage as soon as possible to make a long lasting impact in the field of veterinary medicine through furthering my education.

My field of interest is veterinary medicine, a passion that has not diminished since I was five. Growing up I loved watching people and their pets bring joy and comfort to each other's lives. A few years ago my family decided to adopt a dog. Since joining my life she has helped me lessen my worries with her playful nature. She has become such a big part of my life that she has helped solidify my resolve to become a veterinarian. And help animals like her who make a profound impact with their life. I am determined to make a long lasting impact in the field of veterinary medicine. Starting by helping larger animals such as horses, cows and other common agriculture animals. I find these larger animals amazing because of their critical role in everyday life from food and labor to trusted companions. Having people who understand there needs and how to administer proper care is important to not just these animals but are community. I am also interested in how veterinary practices can enhance agricultural productivity. My goal is to go to college next year to learn all the necessary skills and knowledge. I am thrilled to learn about how to give proper care such as administering medicine and doing surgeries.

I have always loved how consistent math is. Math never has its numbers changed for unexplained reasons. I love how there is always a rule that you are able to follow to reach your answer. And because math is so important many of its founding rules are already discovered for us to use in are lives. I also love how it can apply to many different areas of your life. From work to school math is a constant part of many individuals lives. Many subjects are built off of math so if you have a good grasp on math many subjects in school will be much easier to understand. For example some subjects in school that are involved with math are science and technology. For example you can use math when you study chemistry. Knowing the right ratios to add chemicals in is a skill math can help with. Many careers that you can apply for also require math skills or efficiently complete your required tasks. Math also teaches many basic skills such as problem solving. Knowing how to solve problems is critical in many work or school environments. Not many people want to hire you or be your friend if you are not able to problem solve.

The adversity theater I overcome is going form online schools to pursue my education in a physical building.I struggled with online schooling and how few opportunity it gave me to interact with my peers.This lead to many struggles with my mental health and an increases in anxiety in social situations which impacted my grades. Starting junior year I was moved from online schooling to the local high school.Where I got to meet many more people and join the schools color guard team.Where I had the opportunity to meet many friends who can help each other if we struggle with subjects in school.I have always loved animals and want to pursue a veterinary degree so classes like biology and other sciences have always brought me excitement. As I have always been fascinated by how the world works around us.I will probably need to take out loans to help me pursue my higher education.This scholarship will support me as I active my goals by funding any required materials for my higher education.

I have chosen to pursue a higher education because I want to become a veterinarian. Who will one day make a profound impact by helping others with their animals. Helping animals has always been a passion of mine. When I was young I was always reaching out to neighbors with animals to learn more about these amazing beings. What really inspired me to pursue higher education to work with larger animals is my FFA teachers. Who have been helping me peruse my passion by offering class experience with their animals. A few classes offered at my high school are vet assisting, animal science, and equine science. These classes have given me the opportunity to see if going to college to work in this field is worth it. And they have helped me to see that all people should try and continue to learn even if they do not peruse a higher education. Going to college to learn about how I can make a difference in peoples lives with my higher education is thrilling. Although being a first generation student can be difficult because not everyone in your family can see the amazing benefits by continuing your higher education. And family can try to tell you that it will just leave you with a crippling dept. But one such benefit of pursuing higher education is earning higher pay when you enter the career of your choice. And not everyone has to go to expensive colleges. Some people only need to go to a trade school. Or they could save money by starting their remaining education in high school. And getting the opportunity to ingrain the mentality that collage is not just for jobs it is to prepare you to work hard. It is another key benefit people may overlook. Receiving the chance to go to college to learn about what I can do one day as a veterinarian to make an impact is a dream come true.I am currently striving for my goal by taking several collage level courses for my senior year in high school. So I can work on the classes that apply more to my degree requirements.And have been applying to scholarships recently to help with the cost of my higher education.

Minecraft is an extremely inspiring game that many people love. My favorite aspect of Minecraft is the creative freedom the game gives us. How you can build, fight, or just play with your friends. Personally, I love to play the game by building and changing the world around me. And how every year when they add the latest content to Minecraft you get to learn new ways to play and explore. My favorite way to play the game is to build different farms and cities. I love that I can try multiple ways to meet my goals in the game. For example, you have multiple ways to defeat the ender dragon you could use combate and fight or build a machine to shoot arrows to defeat it. It helps me in my everyday life to know that there is no one way to do things. If I fail the first time I can just, try again and again until I discover what I have done wrong and how I can improve my project. I feel that how Minecraft encourages this mindset in its players is beneficial to many people in the world. That we can change and improve the world around us if we just try.
