I am a high school senior currently attending in Southern California. I have a passion for helping others heal, and I plan to attend university for a Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing, preferably here in California. I will be a first generation college student.
I am interested in the Labor and Delivery nursing field, particularly because I care about women's health. I have had many opportunities to watch doctors and nurses work, and I would like to further my medical knowledge to help as many people as I can.
Currently, I am working to overcome housing and financial issues that I will be facing soon. I am determined to overcome these challenges and not allow them to interfere with my future university plans. Being the recipient of a scholarship would allow me to have a more secure future as a nurse, and allow me to have an easier time paying for university.
