Dear financial manager, my name is Lizbeth Arreola Aguilar and the financial and personal challenges that I am working to overcome by pursuing higher education is to help those in need. My family gave up everything they had for my sister and I to have a better life and live the american dream. I am a first-generation latina student who is aspiring to become a lawyer, but in order to do that I need to keep my studies secure, and with the LSAT prep coming up I am afraid that I will not be able to pay off the money I am being charged this year on top of my LSAT prep courses. I am very hard working and love helping others, I usually get work done quickly, but for the first time after a long while I needed the extra support. My childhood dog passed away at only about 7 years old. She passed away this spring during my final exams and I was broken to pieces, she meant a lot to me and was always there to cope with my stress when I needed her, and she was a great help to my academics but now that she's gone, I've encountered many more challenges such as increased tuition, more exams, and more stress. I cherish her everywhere I go and I know she will be proud she wasn't just a pet, but my best friend. I would read my work out loud to her, I would make time to play with her, and would always be there to take care of her. She was sick, she was loosing her vision, and had epilepsi, she was struggling but even then she would stand back up again. She motivated me to move forward and I helped her push through. Together we were happy and nothing felt bigger than us, now that she's gone I feel like I'm struggling. I commute to campus every day, and live with my family, when I'm home I help my mom clean and cook, I make sure my sister has everything she needs, and I also make sure to finish my homework. I make time to help the younger generation because they are the future, I aspire to become a voice for the voiceless and empower those who want to strive, I don't believe in failure but mistakes that can be arranged. We are not who we are through perfection, but through our mistakes and our commitment, that is why regardless of the obstacles I face I am committed to pursuing my dream career and becoming a lawyer, one that seeks justice for the betterment of people. Thank you so much, have a great day!
