Hello! I'm an undergraduate at Cornell University, majoring in Global and Public Health with minors in Health Equity and Africana Studies. My academic journey is closely linked with my professional experiences, including a research assistantship in the Gender Equity in Food Systems project, an Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity internship at Mayo Clinic, and a grant writing fellowship at OKB Hope Foundation. These roles have enabled me to explore the intricacies of health disparities, gender equity in food systems, and mental health initiatives in Ghana. Engaging in these diverse projects has honed my skills in systematic research, data analysis, and grant writing, while also deepening my understanding of social determinants of health. My proficiency in Twi and my Africana Studies coursework have been invaluable for culturally sensitive communication and comprehending the unique health challenges in African contexts. Looking ahead, I am enthusiastic about pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH).
