Bio

My name is Lionel Major and I am a filmmaker currently based in Chicago. I have recently been accepted into Tisch New York University and SCA University of Southern California. I am driven by an ambition to refine my craft and push the boundaries of my education. I believe that film is one of the most ultimate mediums for connection and I am dedicated to developing a unique visual voice that not only shares my perspective, but resonates with an audience. My goal is to bridge the gap between profound storytelling and pure entertainment, creating work that leaves a lasting impression after the credits roll. Part of my mission is to become a writer, director, and producer, with an emphasis on directing. I want to be able to help film students who are just like me to navigate this ocean of applications and essays so that they may be successful in their ventures.
