If I follow the legacy of my mother it would be to not finish college and to work multiple jobs to support herself and two children, mostly on her own. This will not be my legacy, but what my legacy will be is to change the predetermined outlook on my life, coming from a low-income African-American family. It is not to be determined by past events like the definition says or like like my mother but to be determined by my future actions plus my current actions and to take the hard-working traits of my mother and become a woman ten times better than my mother is because that’s what she raise me to be. Coming from a low-income family and supporting myself on my own since I was nineteen shows me anything is possible. I am now 26 years old with an associate's degree in Information Technology Applied Science. Also, I’m currently working on my bachelor's in Information Technology at Walsh College with a 3.4 GPA.
