Bio

I am a Life Coach who is moving towards a Social Work/Human Services degree. I love to hang w family, go to baseball games, write, play Guitar and drums, being active, go site-seeing and being with friends. My first passion has always been writing. I would love to be published for money as I believe I am talented and have a special gift as I can write in many genres and styles. As a Life Coach, I use instinct, skills, observations, and compassion to assist my clientele to move toward their goals. I’d like to use these attributes in my academic chosen field of Social Work to help people and families who are struggling. I was in an abusive relationship for several years and had a great therapist who helped me gain back confidence and courage to get out and stay out - Currently, my youngest, who has Autism, resides with me - he is so talented and smart. I ended up home-schooling him but from that, he no longer has melt downs or acts out. He shows appropriate manners and eye contact but still lacks some voice inflection to show sadness or excitement. We all are still a work in progress, though, aren’t we? After all, why continue with education of that weren’t so?

MJM3 Fitness Scholarship
One factor is I crave salt and some sugar and frankly, the convenience- weather and depression has a-lot to do with it as well. I want to change my eating habits bc I am over weight, and sugar is not exactly great to achieve that. I need to get a diet buddy or someone who can encourage me instead of people like my sister, who brings over unhealthy snacks when we hang out. I try to get her to go along with eating better and going on walks, but she never follows through, which makes it difficult for me to follow through. I plan on calling my Dr abs getting a referral to a weight loss program and support group -
Taking Up Space Scholarship
I’ve always heard this term as one of negativity, piggy backing the ‘waste of space’ sentiment. It simply says that someone isn’t living up to their potential or being a productive member of society. In my life, I could see how people might think this referred to me, as I was a non-working mother, raising 3 kids, all with special needs, and homeschooling 2 of them. However, doing this as a single parent and only working minimally or literally selling furniture and miscellaneous items from my home, walking side streets to pickup tossed cans and bottles for deposit, was a necessity if I wanted my children to be productive members themselves. As it turns out, all three do very well in life. My daughter just bought a home - - paying off her her former home and SUV last year; she is raising two kids of her own, paying daycare out of pocket, and makes great money in her position. My oldest son works hard to support his 2 daughters, whom he has shared custody of, and is looking to purchase a home as well. My youngest son works at the post office and bought a new vehicle with money he earned and has no loan on the vehicle. I wouldn’t trade the sour looks and back talkers for the world as I am comfortable with my decision to be ‘semi non productive’ member of society (waste of space) living and taking up space, so that my children could be!
