Absorbed in my daily course and striving to accomplish my goals, I suddenly paused to reflect, who am I really? What can distinguish me from those around me? Consequently, I began studying my behavior and my way of thinking until I unearthed my true and own identity. I discovered that my uniqueness comes from my experience, strong-mindedness, and enthusiasm, along with other similar attributes. But I felt most connected with the quote that says, "those brave humans who believe in themselves and strive with determination are most likely to reach their dreams successfully."
It is normal to feel pressure during my busy schedule, and as a human, I have learned to handle stress often. That is how I developed one of my most prominent skills of sustaining a positive mindset. I also learned to refuse any pessimistic behavior even when circumstances are very tense because it does not benefit anyone. Those unpleasant situations and sleep deprivation ended up helping me to mature. I am now convinced more than ever that no complicated situation will control my posture because every problem has a solution; there is always light at the end of a tunnel!
My school experience converted me into a person who constantly wants to improve and thrive. Although it is impossible to avoid falling into challenging conditions, there is always a way of overcoming them. I am here to testify that facing my trials has given me experience and taught me to endure in the fight to reach my goals. At this point, I know you must be asking me, “Linda, what are your goals exactly?” Well, they are simply to go as far in life as I can with my education. I aspire to dive into new kinds of knowledge and feel triumphant while preparing for my future career.
So far in my seventeen years, I have achieved every one of my goals. I grew up hearing the saying "always try to finish what you start," and now I realize that this can apply to every aspect of my life. For example, if I have always imagined being a lawyer, why not carry out this dream into action? I am conscious of the responsibilities involving this career, but most importantly, I consider how becoming a lawyer is one way of helping my neighbor and society. Managing equity and rights is not a far-away illusion anymore!
Today, I have learned a lot about who I am, more than I thought I would. My individuality contains many fantastic qualities that I would love to display out there in this big, great world. Even if this sounds unbelievable, I can affirm that the struggles, the fatigue, the difficulties, and the pressure I faced during my school years have all contributed to shaping my mindset positively. Now, I believe in myself more than ever because I learn from my mistakes. I am eager and determined to fight for my dreams.
