My game: Mint, Neapolitan, Vanilla, Cookie Dough - Types of Ice Cream Espresso, Matcha, Mate, Chocolate - Caffeine Sources Pine, Orange, Olive, Coconut - Types of Trees Toucan, Parrot, Macaw, Hornbill - Rainforest birds I chose ice cream flavors first because it is engaging and appeals to many readers. Whether there are kids or adults playing this game, everyone can be interested in ice cream flavors. For the Caffeine sources and Types of Trees categories, I created these because they could be tricky, giving players a chance for critical thinking. For instance, Mate and Matcha deal with nature and leaves, and olive and oranges also have leaves. Therefore, it becomes a fun challenge! Lastly, I added rainforest birds to the game because they also relate to trees, possibly creating some mix-up there as well. I wanted to create a game that wasn't an easy-out. I like to be challenged with Connections and hope others will be by this game as well!
