My goal is to go to medical school when I graduate from high school to become a radiologist. I work part-time at a local grocery store (for three years and counting) and go to high school full time. As of right now, I am a determined straight-A student. My family doesn’t have a lot of money for me to go to medical school. So that means a lot of loans for me. I have been saving as much money as possible to further my education once high school is over. Winning this scholarship would help me out so much to achieve my highest goal in life. Thank you for this opportunity!

When I was eleven years old, I had scoliosis. When I went to the doctors for my physical, the doctor told my mom that I needed to go to Boston Children's Hospital the next day. It was that bad. When I got there, my doctor fitted me for a back brace to wear until I got surgery. There were many doctor's appointments, worrying thoughts, and sleepless nights involved in the process. I attached pictures of my back before and after surgery. Having this surgery is the BOLDEST thing I have gone through and has made me who I am today.
