My name is Lianna Saucedo. I am an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, three-sport varsity athlete and captain, Black Student Union executive member, Repertory Dance Group member, Puget Sound Admissions Associate, and president of the Resident Student Association at my university. Not only do these accolades help guide me toward my life-changing goals and dreams, but my strong, deep-rooted family has been one of the strongest pillars when initiating these desires. Growing up in a supportive household that guided me through childhood and young adulthood gave me the power and motivation to spread this love outside of my family, worldwide. My goals are to always create a positive space for those around me. I hope that by doing this I inspire others to be their best selves. My hope is that I can lead younger generations onto a path where they can withstand political and environmental drama. I am most passionate about opportunities for all. I believe that everyone is and can be what they strive to be. I am not only compassionate, but I am also driven, organized, selfless, and above all else, I am a lifelong learner, and I hope to be considered as a candidate for your scholarship.
