Sabrina Carpenter Superfan Scholarship
It’s times like these wish I had a time machine. Senior year in high school listening to your favorite artist such as Sabrina Carpenter in the hall is something you only experience once. For as long as I can remember, ever since she released “Email I Can’t Send,” I instantly knew she would be on my top 5 Spotify playlist. Sabrina releases songs she knows will connect to her fans, such as “All Because I Like a Boy,” “Email I Can’t Send,” “Please Please Please,” and so much more. Her songs capture emotions and that’s something I love about her because it shows changes and growing up. Sabrina shows her determination and dedication for her passion, which is something that not many artists do. I love the way she sings; her vocals are out of this world and her songs make us want to sing. She’s funny with her nonsense outro and Juno poses because we don’t know what she will say/do. Everything she says is stuck in my head, it could be her songs or “I’m pregnant, happy April Fool’s Day.” Seeing the way she started off as a Disney star and kept pursuing her career and now is a famous singer is showing her growth. As senior year comes to a wrap and graduation is fast approaching, I always ask myself, what will Sabrina Carpenter do? Sabrina would want me to choose a pathway I would enjoy doing in life as much as she loves singing in life. Her career impacted me to be confident, keep going for my goals, and inspired me to never give up.
