    Bold Patience Matters Scholarship
In my future profession, healthcare, patience is one of the most critical factors of arriving at a proper diagnosis. While this is true, patient is not something learned overnight. Every individual should take time to themselves reflect on their day and realize where a situation could've bettered with a little more time. It is psychologically impossible to have the answer to everything on the tip of your tongue. Some tasks take time to achieve such as days or weeks; more often than not resulting in the activity being rushed and imperfect. It takes time to achieve a one-hundred percent perfect score but it can make the biggest difference. In order to work to the best of my ability, I must have the patient to slow down and accept the fact this is an endeavoring task ahead. Once I am able to push through, I can fully commit myself to the problem one-on-one to arrive at the best solution. It's easy to breeze through class and only submit halfway done work but that is not what will bring success. Being successful involves being able to be patient and be able to accept the challenge. I pride myself in my work which leads me to believe what I layout for the world is the only thing the world can take to see me. If I do not take the important time to relax and take the precious time to look over and correct my world, it can result in a lazy view of me.
    Bold Caring for Seniors Scholarship
One thing I could do to improve the lives of elderly people in my community is to involve more interaction with others in the community. More often than not, elders are held at the senior care center and do not receive visitors other than the acting CNA / RN. This can lead to depression and mistreatment of Seniors. The community should put together high school volunteers to meet the Seniors and go through their day with them. For example, every Wednesday ten high schoolers travel to these long-term facilities to interact with others then this allows a day for those in elderly care to have a day where they are not exposed to the same person. Even in natural life, it is easy to get bored and depressed with the situation. Instead of keeping the same old, it is mentally and physically beneficial to allow for separate interaction outside the normal routine.
