I am in school working towards becoming a nurse with the goal to be a hospice nurse. I feel it’s important to have people with compassion for people and passion for helping in that position. I volunteer in my community, helping people struggling with substance use, homelessness and mental health disorders. I also work in the field of substance use helping people find their way. I want to be a nurse educated about our struggling populations that can give them the love and care that they deserve and help them build trust in the medical system again. I love being in school and learning and feel like I finally found my path in life!
