I am a third year at the University of Texas at Austin studying at McCombs School of Business while also doing Pre-health certification. I aspire to major in either Accounting or Finance. I am also the first in my family who graduated High School and is attending college. I love dancing, practicing self-care, and love listening to music on my way to class! I've always had a curious mind and a good listener and observer. It made me a very curious person and has made me keep an open mind especially here at UT where students are coming from everywhere in the world, it's a good trait & skill to have. Being a first gen Latina is one of the things that keeps me going because I want to be a role model for other Latinas. It's scary and challenging to be the first to leave your home/family to do something that you want and I want them to know that they're not alone and that it is possible. No matter where my path here at UT takes me I know that I will be a role model to my siblings and Mexican-American students and make my parents proud!
