I have a few songs out on different streaming platforms and I am currently working on some more. The song attached is an origional song I made this year called Corner of Your Eye. Since I do not have the proper equipment yet, I make all of my music with my phone and earbuds, using Garageband. As I was creating this song, I decided that I wanted it to be more upbeat. I wanted it to be different from the other songs I made since most of them are slower with the exception of two. I don't play many instruments, and I am still learning the piano, so in the future I hope to create more complex rhythms and melodies!

God is my everything. Spreading God's word and glorifying Him is what means most to me. From a young age, I have always wanted to be a famous and successful singer. Just last year, I made my first song and had it released to different streaming platforms. I was so caught up in making sure that people listened and liked my music, that I was no longer enjoying it or writing about the things that mattered most to me in life. In the future, I plan to make Christian music where I will write and sing about what means everything to me. The song attached is called Only One Way. It is always hard for me to describe the meaning of my songs, but I would say that Only One Way is about two things. One, at the time when I was writing this song, I was frustrated over the division and racism that was happening in my school. In the song, I sing "Do you see beyond my color? Do you see beyond my curls?" Two, I also touched base on what I believe is most important. Im also telling listeners that there is only one way to God, and that is to believe. In the end, I sing "Two things I gotta say, there's only one way, and no matter how you see me I gotta say, there's only one way to be saved." As a believer, it is my job to spread God's word and bring others to God, and I want to do this by spreading His word through my music because God is everything to me.
