Bio

I would describe myself as someone who is logical, but also very creative. I hope to use my creativity to help others in the best way I can while also having fun. That is why I hope to one day have a profession in theater, music, journalism, or creative writing. I am very passionate about my writing, clarinet playing, and other art forms I use to tap into my creativity. I believe I am a great candidate for scholarships because I care deeply about using my talents to reach as many people as I can while taking great pride in them and having fun.

My favorite thing about Disney is the magic it brings to people. Even if you've never been to a Disney theme park and experienced the magic in person, you can still feel it from your couch, watching a Disney classic. I have loved Disney ever since I first went to Walt Disney World and I owe it all to my mom. She was the one who introduced me to my love for Disney by showing me classics like "The Aristocats" and even taking me to Disney World for the first time. My first visit to Disney World is still one of my favorite memories because it's one of my first. I still remember it like it was yesterday. My parents took me for my fifth birthday; I got a makeover into Cinderella at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, ate at Cinderella's Castle where they gave me a chocolate birthday cake with a Mickey Mouse topper, and took a picture with Belle while I held my Dora blanket. But my mom also showed me that I had to face my fears to experience the magic. When I was younger, I was frightened of going on rides like "The Tower of Terror" and "Expedition Everest". I refused to go on them; that is until my mom came up with a brilliant way to combine my love for Disney with my hate for doing anything I was afraid of. She knew I loved collecting and trading pins, so she offered me a pin of my choice if I were to ride one of these rides with her. Thanks to this plan, I have ridden every ride at Walt Disney World and loved each one. Including Space Mountain, which I finally rode last year in return for yet another pin. My mom has taught me to love Disney and face my fears. She and the rest of my family are an immense part of why I love Disney as much as I do. The magic of Disney wouldn't be possible without spending it with my family. My family and I continue our tradition of going to Disney World as often as we can and even have a new tradition with my stepfather and stepbrother; watching the latest Marvel shows and Disney movies on Disney+ together on our couch. Disney, with the help of my mom, has impacted my family and even my new family in many ways. Disney continues to bring my family together and teach me to face my fears, even without my mom's bribing me with pins. Disney will forever be a part of my life and have tremendous meaning to me.
