I honestly don’t know what I would do if I didn’t want to go to college and compete in track and field. Unfortunately, I’ve witnessed others with similar backgrounds succumb to drug abuse, including my sister's father, who fell into addiction. These experiences have only strengthened my resolve to succeed and make a difference in my community. I want to be a role model for others who may feel trapped by their circumstances, showing them that it’s possible to overcome challenges and achieve greatness.
