My name is Lauryn Ball, and I’m currently studying aerospace engineering on the rocket propulsion track at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Throughout high school, I consistently earned honors with high distinction by maintaining strong grades, staying organized, and always striving to fully understand the material I was given. I was also a four-year varsity golf athlete, and served as team captain, I was very active through the S.A.L.T. leadership program, and was a member of the National Honor Society. Volunteering has always been important to me. I’ve contributed to events like Run for Hope, food drives, and local holiday programs. I plan to continue giving back during college and hope to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace field through internships, ideally at NASA.
