God Hearted Girls Scholarship
My relationship with Jesus has been the foundation of my faith and the source of my strength during the most challenging moments of my life. When I lost my mother to breast cancer at the age of sixteen, I experienced grief, confusion, and pain that felt overwhelming. In those moments, turning to Jesus through prayer and Scripture gave me comfort and reassurance. My faith reminded me that I was not alone and that God had a plan for my life, even when I could not yet understand it. Trusting in Jesus helped me heal, grow, and develop a deeper sense of purpose.
Through my relationship with Jesus, my faith has become more than a belief; it has become a way of living. I have learned to rely on patience, perseverance, and compassion, especially when faced with adversity. Jesus’ example of serving others has inspired me to live selflessly and treat everyone with kindness and respect. My faith has guided my decisions, encouraged me to work hard, and helped me remain hopeful when obstacles arise.
As I continue my educational journey, I plan to implement my faith in both my actions and mindset. I will approach my studies with discipline and integrity, understanding that education is a blessing and a responsibility. When coursework becomes challenging, I will rely on prayer and faith to remain focused and resilient. I also plan to be a source of encouragement to my peers, reflecting Christ’s love through empathy, patience, and support.
In my pursuit of becoming a labor and delivery nurse, my faith will influence how I care for others. I will strive to serve patients with compassion, dignity, and respect, recognizing each person as God’s creation. I believe nursing is a calling that allows me to live out my faith by offering comfort, advocacy, and understanding to families during some of the most important moments of their lives.
Ultimately, my relationship with Jesus gives me direction and hope for the future. By trusting in Him throughout my education, I am confident that I will grow not only academically, but also spiritually. My faith will continue to shape my journey, strengthen my commitment to service, and guide me toward fulfilling the purpose God has placed on my life.
Ultimately, my relationship with Jesus gives me confidence, direction, and hope as I move forward in my educational journey. I trust that God has a purpose for my life, and I am committed to honoring Him through dedication, integrity, and service in all that I do. As I pursue higher education, I will continue to lean on my faith for strength during challenges and guidance in important decisions. I believe that God is using my experiences, including loss and hardship, to prepare me to serve others with empathy and compassion. Through faith, education, and perseverance, I hope to become not only a skilled labor and delivery nurse, but also a source of comfort and encouragement to families during life’s most meaningful moments. By allowing my faith to guide my future, I am confident I can fulfill my God-given calling and make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of others.
My Brother's Keeper Scholarship
Losing my mother to breast cancer at the age of sixteen was the most painful experience of my life. In a moment, I was forced to grow up and learn how to live without the person who had always been my source of comfort, strength, and guidance. While the loss was heartbreaking, it also shaped who I am today. Watching my mother fight with courage and grace taught me the importance of compassion, resilience, and faith values that continue to guide my life.
I am a Baptist, and my faith in God has played a major role in helping me navigate grief and uncertainty. During my darkest moments, prayer and trust in God gave me peace and strength when I felt overwhelmed. I believe God carried me through my pain and reminded me that my life still has purpose. My faith has taught me to serve others, to love deeply, and to find meaning even in hardship. It has influenced my decisions by encouraging me to choose a path rooted in care, service, and empathy.
Because of my experiences, I aspire to become a labor and delivery nurse. Being present during one of the most important moments in a family’s life bringing a child into the world is deeply meaningful to me. I want to support mothers emotionally and physically, just as nurses supported my own family during difficult times. I feel called to be a comforting presence, to advocate for patients, and to treat every mother and child with dignity and compassion. I believe this calling is part of my God-given purpose.
My vision for the future is to use my education, faith, and personal experiences to make a difference in the lives of others. Receiving this scholarship would help ease the financial burden of college and allow me to focus fully on my studies and training. More importantly, it would bring me one step closer to fulfilling my dream of becoming a nurse who serves with both skill and heart.
Through faith, perseverance, and education, I hope to honor my mother’s legacy and use my life to serve others. This scholarship would not only support my academic journey, but also help me live out my calling to care for others and make a positive impact in the world.
With God’s guidance and this opportunity, I am confident that I can turn my pain into purpose. This scholarship would not only support my education, but also empower me to walk in the calling God has placed on my life to serve others with compassion, faith, and strength. I am committed to using my future career to uplift families, honor my mother’s memory, and glorify God through service.
