Bio

Hello! I am Lauren Kish, a 18-year-old senior honors student at West Lafayette Jr. Sr. High School in Indiana. I aspire to go to law school to become an attorney with the intent of helping in the non-profit sector. I am passionate about working hard for everything I do, whether academics, tennis, community service, Girl Scouts, or Taekwondo. I love making a difference! Helping others to be successful is my passion. I enjoy leading and encouraging others to work hard to bring about positive change. As a Girl Scout, finishing up my Gold Award community service project, "Accessible and Inclusive Playgrounds," I have been working on my project for the last three years. I have raised $24,400 to add accessible swings, accessible automatic door openers, and accessible benches to the parks in three communities. Not only do I believe that I am exceptionally passionate about my goals, but I also advocate for others. I am a very compassionate and empathetic person when it comes to assisting others in need. Additionally, striving to assist with equality and inclusion for individuals and their families has become my passion. I desire to continue educating, advocating, and helping others by donating my time, energy, and efforts to community service projects during the college years and throughout my career path.
