At 44, I made the decision to return to school and pursue my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Human Resources at Franklin University. The turning point for me was earning my real estate license. What started as a professional goal quickly reminded me how much I genuinely love learning. Going through that process challenged me, energized me, and ultimately inspired me to continue my education in a bigger way.
Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in business operations, contracts, compliance, and working with people. Those experiences opened my eyes to how much leadership, policies, and workplace culture truly matter. I’ve seen how the right guidance and structure can help people thrive and how the lack of it can create unnecessary challenges. That realization is what drew me to Human Resources.
Returning to school while balancing work and responsibilities hasn’t been easy, but it has been incredibly rewarding. This decision isn’t just about earning degrees, it’s about growth, curiosity, and pushing myself to keep evolving. I’m motivated by a genuine passion for learning and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the organizations and people I serve
