"Did you know??” “No, I didn’t…” That has quite often been my response to so many things in life. One of my biggest I didn’t know moments was when I was applying to college. I know that college can be a stressful topic for many, but I think my experience has been one for the books. My name is Laura Acosta. I am a first- generation college Latinx student at Florida Atlantic University, studying Business in Health Administration. Being a first-generation student has been one of the biggest obstacles in my life. Not only am I the first to attend college but I was the first in my family to attend high school!
