I'm a single mother of two awesome daughters. I'm also a military veteran. My oldest is following in my footsteps by serving our country in the US Navy and my youngest has decided to pursue a career in beauty. I'm currently working towards my Bachelors in Psychology and ultimately my Ph.D. in Psychology and work with Veterans. During my 7 years in the military I grew very interested in mental health. I would describe myself as a very outgoing, charismatic, hardworking and adventurous. I have raised my children and now stepping out on faith and stepping out of my comfort zone and going back to school to pursue my PhD in Psychology. It's not going to be easy being that I, myself struggle daily with mental health-related challenges, including PTSD and anxiety but I'm a fighter and risk taker and once I set my mind on something, I will make it happen no matter what. And I know that it's going to be very satisfying being able to help others with the same struggles gain control over their mental health just as I did.
