    Dashanna K. McNeil Memorial Scholarship
I'm a first-generation college student, 22 years old. During the covid pandemic quarantine, I spent my time studying for the Sonography program, something I was highly interested in. But, just before starting the program, I sat down with myself and began seriously considering my future. Instead of becoming an ultrasound technician, I came to the conclusion that I should become a nurse. I did my research and applied to a nursing school, which I was accepted to. I'm currently enrolled in nursing school, and I'm very excited about it. But why are you switching to nursing at this time? you may inquire. I began researching the carrier and quickly became fascinated with every part of it. Not only because of the positive impact you have on people's lives but also because of the numerous career prospects it provides. I'm driven to pursue a college education because I want to make my parents proud of me and provide them with the comfortable lifestyle they deserve. My parents made a big sacrifice for my future and that of my younger brother; we left our native country in order to have a better future, and I can't let them down. We are a low-income family, therefore this scholarship will be really significant to me and my family.
    Bold Wise Words Scholarship
The world owes you nothing, is the wisest thing I've heard. Assuming the world to treat you fairly simply because you are a good person is akin to expect a bull not to attack you because you are a vegetarian.
    Bold Goals Scholarship
Becoming a nurse is much more than work or a profession to me. It's a daily learning process that I'm willing to embark on in order to embrace life's unexpected twists and turns. The pride I feel in declaring "I'm going to be a nurse" is unmeasurable since I'm touching the lives of people, whether they help is grateful or go unrecognized. It's a privilege to be accountable for somebody. Nurses are more than a profession of character and kindness; it's a privilege to be accountable for someone else. The first time I actually touched a person's life, just after graduating from high school, was shockingly rewarding. My body was filled with a sense of success and self-worth.

The ability to manage your time is critical to achieving your objectives. Making a priority pie that maps out how you'll divide your time over the course of a semester is recommended by Levy. All of your personal, professional, and educational interests should be included in your priority pie. Discipline yourself, manage your time, don't quit, and interact with your instructors are some examples. Taking pauses, making time aside for meals, and engaging in recreational activities can help you stay fueled and on track to meet your objectives.

I'm a 22-year-old nursing student with a strong passion to make a difference in the world. As an immigrant and a first-generation college student, you bear a great deal of responsibility for your academic achievement. I'm not just striving to become a nurse to support my low-income family; I want to make a difference in people's health and care in our community. When English is not your first language, pursuing a career in science can be difficult, but giving up is not an option. My ambition is to specialize as a pediatric nurse and work with the most vulnerable members of our society, our children. When I consider the impact I will have, it makes me joyful.
    Bold Listening Scholarship
The terms "listening" and "hearing" are not interchangeable. Our bodies naturally notice the sounds around us, but understanding what we're hearing demands mental effort and concentration. It is critical for us to be able to actively listen to others around us. Being a good listener is important not only at school and at work but also in social situations. It is critical that we are able to listen to other people's opinions and points of view rather than focusing solely on our own. Being a good listener is a valuable ability to have, and it may turn out to be the primary answer to the world's issues.

My name is Laritza Coro. I'm a nursing student attending ECPI University in Lake Mary. I was born and raised in Cuba, an island located in the center of the Caribbean sea which has severe economic difficulties for its residents. I arrived to the united stated in December of 2016, and I'm greatly thankful for all the refugee assistance programs that helped me and my family when we had barely anything. As part of my contribution to help this country that so many opportunities have given my family and I., I have done charity work. The first one was helping sort supplements inside a warehouse and also helping distribute the goods among the families in need. another activity I have done was during high school when I tutored young refugees teaching them English and helpo=ing them with school activities and guidance. I believe in giving back and helping others, and as soon as I get the chance I dedicate my time for that
