Ever since I can remember, music has been what defined me as a child. As I began singing at three years old, singing “Holly and the Ivy” for fundraising concerts at my church, my voice had become something I would want to use to entertain others and give back to my community. Everything related to music called out something in me I didn’t even realize was alive yet. Growing up in church and worship influenced my love for music. I joined the youth worship team and have gone on several community outreach and missions' trips as a part of my church youth group.
In 2023, at the beginning of my sophomore year, I discovered a group that would change my life. My mother and I were filling out applications to transfer to my new public school when we saw an ad to audition for the Detroit Opera Youth Chorus. So, I decided to take a shot and audition for their chorus and upcoming spring operetta. Surprisingly, I got the lead female role in the operetta, “The Odyssey,” which marked the start of my journey in classical voice.
I was given the opportunity through DOYC to go to Interlochen’s summer arts camp program for Classical Voice performance on a half-ride scholarship two years in a row! There, I developed and grew more than I could have possibly imagined and fell in love with my craft. The performance opportunities that Interlochen provide are very shaping for aspiring singers. My first year I was in the Interlochen Singers choir, and my second year I sang in the World Youth Honors Choir. Attending Interlochen’s camp has not only developed my classical voice, but as well as my love for songwriting and collaboration. In my free time, I would write original music by myself or with other songwriters. From meeting and working with the faculty that I would later go on to audition for at college auditions, to singing and bonding with my peers who would audition alongside me as we embark on our college journey, Interlochen gave me insight to who I wanted to become in the future.
I spent my senior year auditioning for colleges as a Voice Performance Major. I have been accepted into New York University, The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, the University of Michigan, Belmont University, and Western Michigan University. On top of auditions, I am an active member of the Tri-M Music Honors Society. As a member, I participate in helping our school community through events like charity caroling, selling cookies and treats, singing at community events, and more school-related fundraising events. Wherever I go to college, I plan on taking that mindset and lifestyle with me, using my voice and education to not only entertain, but help others.

I am first and foremost an unapologetic follower of Christ. I am a musical artist, singer/ songwriter, vocal performer, and I play the piano and guitar to accompany myself. I use the gifts and talents that God has given me to show and share God's Love every chance I get.
I am an active member of my local church. I have been singing and leading worship at Youth services for years now. I am also a member of my Church Modern Choir. But I believe I should brig my faith out to the world. Wherever I end up in college, I hope to share my faith to everyone God puts in my circle and beyond.
I have been singing and performing at fundraiser concerts since I was 5 years old. Some f the fundraisers were to help victims of Typhoon Haiyan In 2013. Furthermore, I performed multiple times in concerts to raise funds for Medical Missions in the Philippines in 2014 and 2017. Even as children, I believe we can help people on the other side of the world by being willing to share your talents and time. How much more can we affect the world as active members in the community.
I'm my attempt to pursue commercial music o my own, I want to use this opportunity to be a light in the world of music. While I know that Christianity is not popular in this industry, I believe God has put certain people here to be the salt and light. There are people that are successful but are vocal about their faith and are using their influence to share the love of Christ. I want to be one of them. In the area of singing ad songwriting, I know God can use my artistry and buy voice in a way that only God can orchestrate.
As I start my College journey In Voice/Opera Performance, I want to ensure that I can bring God's love not only to my friends, other students in my department, but also my dorm mates and everyone God puts around me.
Wd don't always have to be missionaries. I believe we can serve God where He places us; be it in the medical field, industrial field, science and engineering, or performing arts and music. We came limit God's wisdom in how He can use us.
For me, I want my music to reflect God's love, whether they are Christian music or secular.

WinnerI have performed as a volunteer at various organization in the Michigan Filipino community events year after year since 2022. At my High School, I perform every year for our Ethnic Fair event to showcase my culture. I also perform bi-annually at my school's "Coffee House"/ "Espresso Yourself" since 2023 singing covers as well as my original songs to showcase my Vocal Performance and Songwriting skills. These events are fundraising events to support selected non-profit organizations every year. Knowing that doing what I love also raises funds for people in need is definitely a PLUS.
Since I was 5 yrs old, I have been singing at Fundraiser concerts to support various causes. One of which was a concert to raise money for Haiyan victims in 2013. Succeeding concerts were to raise funds for a Medical Mission in the Philippines in 2014 and 2017. I believe that even as a child in my corner of the world, I can use my talent to support causes that matter on a bigger scale which help people on the other side of the world.
I have also performed as Front Act Performer at over six concerts in Michigan and Ohio from 2022 to 2026 as a volunteer. On top of that, I am asked to sing the National Anthem at various events like Asian Women's Day, Battle of the Badges in Troy, Athens High School Sports Events, Filipino Community Events, and more.
At my local church, I volunteer as a Vocal Soloist or Vocal Harmony at my Youth worship services. I am also part of the Church Modern Choir where I sing Soprano.
I also find the utmost pleasure singing for the elderly residents of Assisted Living Facilities regularly as well as special occasions especially Christmas Parties where it's also attended by the staff and the families of the residents.
At school, I am part of Athens Theatre Company where I had the opportunity to play the role of "Fiona" in "Shrek there Musical" I 2024 where I was nominated for the Sutton Foster Award in April 2025 and performed with other nominees at the Wharton Center floor the Arts in Lansing. Previous to that, my first nomination to the said AWARD was for my lead role in a musical where I I also performed at the Fisher Theatre with other nominees in 2022. In April 2026, I will be playing the role of "Fantine" in "Les Miserable" which is a joint production of Athens High School and Troy High School.
In February 2026, I released my first single "All You Need" ad debut in New York Fashion Week performing my single. I am, currently working to produce and release my EP in the next few months.
In college, I will be pursuing Voice /Opera Performance and have been accepted in University of Michigan, Belmont University as well as Western Michigan University. I have auditioned for and awaiting decision from New York University, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and Carnegie Mellon University. I will. be choosing the school I can best pursue all my passions but also the one that offers financial and merit scholarships.
