From a young age, I made a conscious choice to befriend children who often felt overlooked, particularly those with special needs. Volunteering at local events like Freedom Fest and Merry Main Street in Frisco, TX has been incredibly rewarding. These experiences allowed me to connect with diverse groups, celebrate our community’s uniqueness, and foster a spirit of togetherness. Additionally, my role as a teacher assistant at the Frisco Masjid deepened my appreciation for education and cultural awareness. Supporting students in a nurturing environment reinforced my belief in the power of learning and the importance of providing guidance to younger generations. Bullying is an issue that concerns me as this can leave lasting scars on individuals. The impact of bullying is profound, often leading to emotional distress, low self-esteem, and feelings of isolation. Victims may experience anxiety, depression, and even develop physical health issues as a result of the stress. Witnessing someone being bullied can also affect bystanders, instilling a sense of helplessness and fear. This cycle of negativity can permeate the community, creating an environment where kindness and respect are overshadowed by hostility. Which is why I stand firmly against bullying and negative behavior, believing it is unacceptable to hurt others for personal gain or fulfillment. Educating children about the consequences of their actions is vital; it’s essential to instill a sense of empathy from a young age. Teaching them to treat everyone with kindness and respect can create a culture of support and understanding, ultimately benefiting the entire community.
